Celebrating Black Brilliance and the Ecosystem That Supports It
Future ED Awards 2025 celebrates the unwavering commitment and excellence of professionals of Black African and Caribbean heritage and their allies across the entire education ecosystem. From early years to higher education, from classrooms to boardrooms, and from formal education to community-led learning, this event honours those who go above and beyond to teach, lead, mentor, coach, and empower.
We shine a spotlight on individuals driving excellence in education at every level: teachers, leaders, support staff, mentors, and advocates. But we don’t stop there. Future ED also recognises the broader education supply chain: organisations that provide vital resources, systems, and support to schools, students, and families. This includes awarding bodies, educational publishers, technology providers, school improvement consultants, and supplementary and after-school programs rooted in community.
